I've seen something a bit like this before except you could actually get by but the timing was a bit off for some reason. My account is still fine though, nothing happened to it.

Something like this happened to me earlier as well (Their was a random plant where you'd normally run to (instead of running there you just kept clicking the plant). I hoped worlds and everything was fine.

 

I've passed this info off to the dev for nexus based bots.

 

It's a bug, I've had similar thing happen to me before way before sorc bots even existed. It's rare and you can just world hop. It definitely isn't Jagex.
But adding a failsafe to make it world hop when constantly failing is always a good idea.
