Ban Evading.

Hello Sythe Staff,


Yesterday, i was banned for Ban Evading from my old, original account named 'Tyson'. He was originally banned for scamming, but i never scammed on that account, it was hacked from me. Now, i'm sorry but this is going to be a relatively long story.


The Beginning

Originally, i created my sythe account 'Tyson', back in 2006 (i think, my dates might be a bit off). The sole reason of this, was to buy membership pins as my parents were angry at me for spending too much time on Runescape and not focusing on school assignments, so they said they were no longer going to buy me Runescape Membership.

I didn't post too often, i think i had a post count average of like 1 - 2 posts a day. It was only ever Runescape related business, i rarely ever went into any other sub forums.

Now, as to it scamming. That account was hacked from me, along with my email. The second this happened, i was struggling to recover my stolen email, luckily i succeeded. The instant i got that back, i contacted all the mods on my email, i'd bought a lot of pins so i had a lot of moderator contact. The problem was, absolutely no one listened. I told countless moderators 'please help me, my account has been hacked' etc. Now this was years ago, none of those moderators exist today, i can't even remember any of their names. I only ever remember talking to 'Full Tilt' i think it was, who was an official middleman. I think i talked to Boom Headshot as well, i'm struggling to remember names right now but i had lots of the very very old moderators added.

The hacker on my account was scamming mills i think, and i might have made an account and posted on those threads saying not to trade with him, that it's not me in possession of it. But being a newly created account, no one listened to me. My account 'Tyson', had a fair few vouches as well from the pin buying etc so people trusted him.

This was the first time it'd ever happened to me, i had no idea what to do, i had never heard of this happening to anyone before. I don't think i posted a dispute about it, i didn't even know that the dispute forum existed (i still don't know if it was around back then?). I did however, continue to try to contact moderators, who all told me they'd look into it, and never did.

I was extremely disappointed in the sythe staff members at that time, i didn't care about anything anymore.


Various Other Accounts on the Same IP

I don't know if you know about the other accounts or not, but after being banned, i let my little brother use this site. I'd never let him in the past because i knew his intention was to scam. But being i was banned, and i didn't care about anything because i felt let down by the whole community, i let him do whatever he wanted, i'd also quit runescape when i got banned.

He was never too successful at scamming, i think he stole like 10M.


The Creation of †Tyson†

Can't remember when i made this account, 2008 i think? I'd just finished highschool, had a lot of free time as i only went to TAFE 2 days a week, studying a Diploma of Justice Administration. So i started Runescape again, and thought i'd try to make another account on sythe.

I made a couple friends, one of them being Macroman, before he became a mod. I told him the whole story of my previous account, he said he remembered that account and would be happy to get it back for me. I wasn't really interested in it, i didn't want to get my hopes up to be let down again, i didn't use the market at all so i didn't care about vouches or anything like that. I just posted in the general discussion mainly.


†Tyson† Being Hacked

Yet again, i encountered the same problem as before, but this time i was successful in preventing any scams. I talked to every moderator i knew again, no surprise that absolutely no moderator listened to me. Just told me to go away and leave them alone.

But i didn't want to let this happen again, i made several new accounts, each one getting banned because i kept posting in the general discussion saying that i am †Tyson† and i'm not in control of my account. But moderators didn't care, they just banned those new accounts. Until eventually, one moderator listened to me. That was Nick, hence why after that incident, he became my favourite moderator and i often came to him for help.

He temperarily banned the account until i could prove i am the true owner. I said i can prove it in the fact that i have a TAFE ID card stating i study a Diploma of Justice Admistration, that i live in Brisbane, that my name is Tyson. All these details were also on my profile of my account †Tyson†, i send him a picture of that ID card, with a sign next to it saying the date and various other things. Apparently, that wasn't even enough, again i was starting to lose my faith in sythe staff.

But, Sin666 took over, she said if i can prove i own the account Poo------Bum, then i can have my account (†Tyson†) back. Because i had tried to sell that account, just for the name, but no one had any offers i was interested in so i still had it in my possession.

I got my account †Tyson† back after i proved that.


Conclusion

I know this is a lot to read. I'm requesting the unban of my account, either my original (Tyson) or other one (†Tyson†). I did all i could to stop the hacker on Tyson from scamming, at least all i could think of at the time, i was far younger then than i am today.

I have never showed any intention of scamming before the account being hacked, or after. I never even used the black market on †Tyson†, apart from when i tried to sell the name Poo------Bum, which failed, i think i ended up just giving it away.

So i've shown no intention of scamming, i've always been honest, i've never denied ban evading. I've stated in several threads that it was not my first account, and i even told Macroman absolutely everything. I'm a lot older and more intelligent than i was since the creation of Tyson. If i could go back in time today, i'm sure i could have stopped it being hacked with the knowledge i now know.

I'll be happy to provide any additional information, this is all i can think of at the moment. I beg you to please reconsider your decision in banning me, i honestly have never and will never, have any intention to scam.

Please read all this, please consider everything i've said, and hopefully you'll change your mind and allow me to be part of the community again.
