    WoW PvP Class?

Hey guys, I'm currently going to start RaF with someone, and want to create a character that will be superior in PvP. I'm not much of a PvE guy but from what I hear and see on WoW forums is that Frost Mages and Feral Druids have an edge at the time. I'm looking for a class that isn't only good right now due to blizz buffs, and would prefer having something that is consistent and won't face damage nerfs in the near future from blizz.

    All help appreciated!

If you want, I can actually give you an account RAF'd under my main account.
I'd love to start making a twink, but it has to be US.
You can feel free to keep the account if you'd like, and it's currently upgraded with Vanilla.
Just PM me if you're interested on MSN.
Or post here, which ever works :)

Shamans, to me, are a very strong class. As elemental specialization, they have the ability to heal considerable amounts while still dealing high amounts of damage.
I do not see them being nerfed in the near future, and once you learn how to play a shaman well, you will be able to beat many of those frost mages and feral druids.
Also, they have a great restoration specialization which allows you to change your play-style if you wish (for when you get bored with dealing damage).

The one class if played right that has made me so mad time and time again would be shadow priests.. I've seen 3-4 people wiped by one of these. Shammys and mages are good alts though if you prefer them.

I was going to say frost mages, feral druids, and rogues, but of course there will be nerfs and buffs for all classes.

Shadow Priest, hands down one of the most undisputed PvP class.

You can't pick a class based on the future. Every single class eventually ends up being the crappiest class at one point. Pick a class that you would have fun playing. Would you rather be up front and in the action in pvp (warrior, feral druid, etc.) or would you rather be killing from a distance (mage, hunter, etc.)?

My personal preference is killing from a distance. Unless you are a tank with crazy health, casters will most likely target you because your an easy kill. Also if your killing from a distance it's a lot easier to escape if someone goes after you. Mages can blink ahead, as an added bonus.

Not a ret paladin, that's for sure. I'd say rogues, mages and warriors have it easy right now, but remember, pvp is 90% skill, 10% how buffed your class is in comparison to others. For ret paladins, we have no survivability and our heals are terrible, so we get trashed pretty easily.

No class..will be better than the other..They all fluctuate at some point. Pick one you think you'll have fun with. PVP is all about skill.

Right now I'm inclined to agree with this. However, that's only until mind spike gets nerfed :L

    WoW PvP Class?

There will always be a flavor of the month. Choose a class you think you will like to play in PvP.
My advice, go with a druid. Feral druids are currently very good, as feral druids and balance druids are being given a shot in arenas by Blizz.
Additionally, resto druids are always going to be a must have for PvP. They are the best HoT healers and therefore very good for PvP.

If you have your heart set on MDPS, pick a rogue. They just got nerfed majorly, but are still very good. Rogues were built for PvP, especially battlegrounds.

Ah fellow Priesty I see :) even in lower brackets shadow just rips through basically anything. A class that can bubble, fear, heal, dot, dispel and negate 90% for 6 seconds? What more could you ask for ^_^

I'm not a shadow priest. But i said earlier shadow priests were ungodly. As a sub rogue if i can avoid a shadow priest i do. Personally Shadow priests are extremely good and from personal experience if you like quick burst damage go with a rogue. Nothing beats taking the health of an enemy in 3 hits :).

The versatility and utility of Shadow Priests is unmatched! Goblin rocket jump makes them even more OP
