BAD runescape Lag :'(

Hey Guy's, a very annoying problem here, so i started making my pure, got it decent stats etc and decide to go pking in f2p, but honeslty the lag is awful, every few seconds i lag for like 5 sec resulting in a 4 hit combo on me, basically meaning i get owned even though my stats should own my opponents. I can play on normal worlds perfectly and i have a very good computer 4GB ram etc ( its designed for gaming ) Ive tried using their client but still no luck. Do you think i will get the same lag on members pvp? Im just really p*****d off that i spent time making a pure and now i cant pk , LOL.

If anyone has any suggestions i would be very grateful to hear some, thanks <3

 

Makes sure the world your going into doesn't have 100+ ping. If it does, you mostly going to lag in a pvp world. Even if it's member or free, maybe do some scans on your computer or delete a few useless things. It always helps to have a clean computer.

 

I have similar laptop stats as well man, it's happening for everyone. I have a high level pure I pk with in bh+1 cuz its ags/claw pure, and I havn't been able to get anything done in the past week or so. The lag is awful and what's worse it's not for everyone. It only lags in certain areas so I have been lagged out and DC'ed and as I stick with 100's of others, some random guy runs buy untouched by the lag-fest. It's already caused me to die multiple times and Now I just refuse to PK til its fixed. I fear it will be after the upcoming updates because it seems Jagex has better things to work on than there servers, especially the extremely busy ones that do not run like clockwork like the others without maintanaince.

Also, its not just pking worlds, a few days ago I was in world 2 and it kicked near everyone out of it, went from FULL to like 150 people in it before people started logging back in. Also, my SW bot has been messing up lately because of bad connection or DC'ing, so hopefully this will get better soon, for now I guess avoid crowded worlds.

 

Thanks guys, Thankgod its not just me and i too have now died multiple times to targets etc , im not yet maxed to try the members worlds thats why i'm taking a break and just doing some ftp pking but yeah the lag makes it impossbile, i do hope jagex get it fixed up soon Thanks for all the input!

 

no problem man, yea I thought it was my connection as well for awhile, restarted my laptop, checked my modem and router, lol. Finally figured out it was the whole world when I saw that massive W2 kick. Just do like me and alot of other people are doing, chill on the pking for now, throw your pure on some bots to get better stats, and start working on a staking account, there pretty fun and they take my attention away from the shitty pking lag for the moment, LOL.

 

LOL, and yeah i've already got the bot started haha not sure what build for a staker though :/ always been more of a pker than staker

 

Ever since some update a a month/2 back my ping has gone up to 100+ in most worlds, can't pk. Only some worlds are ok. Before the update I was getting great connections to every world.

 

Get a new computer/connection.

Windows sucks and you'll always experience lag on it.

 

Lag is to do specifically with internet connections...

OT - My connection is back to normal speed, got down to some nice pking yesterday
