99 Herblore on a 1 def pure?

Hey everyone, I have about 250m to spend on my pure, I already have an AGS/SGS/Claws 99 ranged/mage and 92 strength, all pk gear you can imagine, only things I dont have is that new bow coming out, a party hat and expensive 99's. So since the bow isn't out and I dont have enough for the party hat, I want to get a really expensive 99.

Something that can not just look pretty but be useful. I am stuck between con/herby/smith/crafting.

Herblore imo is the best choice, it is a very respected cape and not many peple especially pures have it. The question remains however, is it just waste of time? Are overloads good on a pure? It would be cool to wreck in cw and maybe spec out bandos or something as a level 76 but is it really worth 200m?

what do you suggest I do?

 

It's about 100m and I would do Construction though...I like the cape more but your choice...

 

The green herblore cape just stands out, but personally why not save the money for the new xbow?

 

Depends do you do a lot of PvM? If not i'd suggest just saving your money. Or invest in something.

 

Nah get Herblore, chances are this new bow/x Bow when it settles won't be more than 150mil, so you will still be able to get that as well. + I'm sure overloads are good for just about anyone?

 

Like I said, I prefer a 99 that has a use, besides I'm sure overloads will come in handy every now and then.

Just bot your herblore. You won't get caught with a paid bot at grand exchange. Just don't take breaks.

 

I wouldn't suggest you blowing all your money because it's good for spare money for whatever you want to buy food/pots whatever or to stake with, but. I would definitely get herblore cape it's one of my favourite skill capes on runescape and you don't see to many around. Smithing, on the other hand is also one of my favourite skillcapes. Construction is one of the most ugliest skillcapes on runescape imo.

 

I will probably get Herblore then, if I dont have enough for the crossbow I might just have to buy like 50m from R2pleasent, and yes I will definitely bot it haha

I'd go for Crafting.

 

New bow is a crossbow which is ammoless and pretty much the godsword of ranging haha, also it hits as strong a d bolts

Construction has weird purposes, if I was going to choose I would select construction, just because overall it's my favorite skill. If I had 200m to blow it would all go towards it. I want an awesome PoH.

 

Herblore is like 300m+...

Unless you're cleaning herbs, which makes it as slow as rc.

 

Uh, construction is mad expensive if you plan on actually building a nice house.
