Important Info Regarding Votes

I was browsing the RS forums and came across a way to instantly make fake votes to get the referendum passed


I found out that it possible to make a fake vote in one minute.

Few easy steps:
1) click on "create a new player"
2) put a fake e-mail address (last one I used was [email protected]"
3) put a random ******** and then click on continue.. You don't even need to create a name to this fake player.
4) Login in the referendum page and then vote.


THIS IS ALL YOU HAVE TO DO TO GET A VOTE. DO IT!!

Yea.. 300k votes is easy enough in 2 weeks.

 

Agreed but it does look somewhat steep. It took us about 6 days to get 700k votes and that's the majority so far. I still believe that we'll be able to pull another 500k easily but you still have to consider the possibility of not enough people voting.

 

Is it definite that if it passes that they will bring it back? I really haven't heard much about how they are going about it.

it took us fucking 6 days for 700k votes -.-, and alot of ppl have already voted, so ppl start making fake accs!!!

I agree with BEYOND, I have a feeling no matter how many MORE votes we get. It's still coming back. :noworry:

 

nice,info but i what i always wanna tell rs player is not to worry,we will get to 1mil or more vote eventually,even if we dun get 1mil vote,i think the update will go on later or sooner

 

Nothing is definite with Jagex. Their JMods lie out their asses all the time.

 

Lets just look at Cons for Jagex when it brings back free trade, etc

- Bots? - This already exists and JagEx just can't do anything about it with the new reflection ones. Instead they will gain (member fees) when new bots of goldfarmers comes in which are realistic. Realistic-looking bots will make other players less suspicious and hence they won't complain.

- Real World Trading: This isn't even an issue for JagEx. Its already going on too.

I honestly don't see any reason JagEx should be concerned rather than being happy about releasing it.

Only thing is they might receive more complaints about luring, duel arena scamming etc, which they can handle by adding few more people.

hmmm, well looks like when JaGeX listens to us about posting the referendum on the homepage, it gets great results! Votes went up by like 5 fold, 1mil is easily done by the 14th, hell we will have it by tomorrow night or tuesday morning at this rate, and by the next day we will have 1million just yes votes. LOL I really hope they just recognize and don't draw this out til the 14th, I go back to school that day and I would really like to hit up this update and take advantage of all the newbies for a few long caffiene-driven days before classes start back.

The only reason it tool 6 days for 700k votes is because it wasn't the featured announcement until a few days ago and the votes have sky rocketed since then
