Selling would be the safest route to go, yes. I recommend people sell most of their high-value items and rebuy later, especially if they are not a merchant.

 

I have liquidated almost all of my items except some upper partyhats, got a few cash stacks sitting in the GE ready to take advantage of crashing items I expect to rise. Overall a good analysis.

 

Rocktails would be a better investment tbh.

Sharks have been losing value for a long time due to the addition of rocktails into the game.

 

Sharks are at 1,300 now, being sold in pvp worlds for 2-3kea ^.^

not many people will pay more than 3k (what some people expect rocktails to go over) for some food that only heals, what is it, 2 more than shark?

 

Good evaluations. However i would prefer to wait till the big change hits before modifying how i merch. Im patient and even if i do miss some stuff i could've prepared for, so be it.

I advise to keep Blues and Whites only if you won these two partyhats. the rest are going downhill.

 

Waiting for the update is almost always too late. Nowadays, the prices of items start getting effected the instant any big announcement is made since so many people are active merchants.

I'm definitely keeping my blue and white, probably will keep my other phats as well but I already unloaded my smaller rares.

Have botted 10m on accounts and have another 3-4m to transfer off existing ones, which I can hopefully use to start small time merchanting up to around 50m

 

Sharks are currently crashing, I suggest flipping them at 900gp.

Glad this is helping everyone! As for food, I strongly suggest buying sharks if they drop under 1,000 - increased demand will drive the price up once they release the wilderness.
