    Over heating PROBLEM

Recently I've had a massive problem with over heating, only my graphics card.

While idling, with only this chrome browser is open, its at 89c. Ive heard 90c WHILE playing a game is horrible.

When playing a game it will be fine for awhile, and thrn the FPS will suck, today I figured out its because the graphics card temp. gets to about 113c when playing games.

I have 2 fans, 1 recently replaced. Any ideas ? Im not over glocking my pc, my drivers are the latest out, and my graphics card SEEMS ( not sure not a big techy here ) to be the only thing over heating.

When playing a game: ( halo 2 for vista )

When not ( this is right now, with the case open right after i have dusted everything off ):

How much RAM do you have? And have you taken the graphics card into a store for testing?

Ok, I'd recommend taking your laptop back to the place of purchase and tell them. It would seem to me as faulty hardware.

Too bad its not a laptop, its a PC. Making the heating issue that much more extreme.

Then just take your PC back to the place of purchase and see what they say.

With those temps i wouldn't be playing any games. What you can do is download
EVGA precision and turn your gpu fan up to 100% and it should cool it down.

How does the physical graphics card look? Clogged up with any dust?

    Waste of cash.

    OP:
Try adding some more case fans, cleaning it with compressed air.
And that GPU is old anyway, the fan might be broken.
Also if you really have to, deskfan full force onto your case(with the sidepanel off).
The last suggestion isn't really the smartest idea, but it does work..
