RWT Warning information

So i got a RWT warning for buying gold.
Just wondering if anyone else has had one and brought GP after there warning?
If you did what happened?

Also is it straight to perm banned after a RWT warning or?

I wanna buy gp but obviously don't wanna be perm'd.

Any info is appreciated.

 

Also if i buy on an acc which is linked to another on the jagex launcher do both get banned if i was to buy?

I received a two day RWT buy ban on an account a couple of years ago. I’ve bought and sold many many many times since then with no issues. Just let the warning rest for a bit. I’d buy on a different account too, then transfer the GP as you see fitting. Oh and no, it isn’t straight to perm after warning. I’m sure it can be, but it’s usually a warning, or a few warnings, then a two day ban.

 

So you think after a warninng, (nearly 2 months ago now) I brought like 1B on my ALT (got the same warning at the same time) If i was caught i'd likely get a temp ban?

Really dont want to be buying bonds, but my mains linked to the same acc on the launcher. Would both catch bans? Cheers for your input!

 

If you get caught again, then 100% it will be a permanent ban. If you really care about your account, then simply don't RWT any more.

But I bet you bought off a gold seller /website trading a low combat level account and f2p world. They get banned daily and then all the people that traded the account get a RWT warning.

If you were to trade again buy OSRS items instead of OSRS Gold. Make sure the seller cares about safe RWT practices. They should use high combat level accounts in P2P worlds. They should buy gold coming from real players, not botters, goldfarmers, bulk re-sellers.

I would say if you be really careful about who you trade, and buy OSRS items, the chances of a ban are almost zero.

If you want the safest way to purchase 1.6B then buying a twisted bow is better then buying gold, far safer.

Don't have experience with it. But i would avoid trading 2 times, if you can just trade it once. You have 1 less trade and don't run the risk of all your accounts being banned.

 

after having 3 buying bans on my main, i have had a lot of success from buying only from high level accounts (ideally 100+cmb) and buying the gold on a alt (not a level 3 preferably) and letting the gold rest for a few months before trading over to my main, it's tedious, and can't be done if you urgently need the gold, but i'd assume it helps a lot. If your buying small amounts of gold your probably best off just buying bonds as it avoids the risk of a rwt ban entirely, and directly supports the game.

 

Did you get a perm ban? I think im going to just buy a tbow and then be done with it on my ALT. It's linked to main on Jagex launcher tho

 

no, I only got temp bans. Perms are always possible I suppose but they tend to not do that for buying.

If you plan to buy it on your alt I’d recommend letting it rest for sometime before trading it over, instantly buying it and giving it to your main right away would look worse then just receiving it on your main.

If you got a RWT warning I advise you not to buy gp anymore on that account. If you buy gp again and you get caught, you'll get a temp ban plus gold removal.

 

This has been answered already, but will they ban all linked accounts is my main question...

 

if a buyer most likely only on the acc you bought the gp on. if you are a seller, most likely any associated account

 

Well guys, I got a RWT warning on my main. Purchased gold a few weeks prior to receiving the warning. I believe, when they ban the seller’s account, they send an auto-generated message to any account that has traded with the seller. It was only a message, though. There has been no action of any kind against my account.

The thing is, I bought more gold a few weeks after receiving the message because I didn’t actually read the message until later. Lol. So, we’ll see what happens. So far, nothing has happened, so I’m thinking they haven’t caught the seller account that traded with me, yet. I’ll update this post if something changes.
