Why does my new computer download so slow?

I recently bought a new computer, and after setting it up, I noticed it loads pages and downloads extremely slowly.
For example, when I attempted to download iTunes, it was going at 55 kb/sec.
Normally, I would be downloading at around 300+
I'm currently using Comcast with a really nice router:

Why is it so crappy?
I'm connected to the internet via the ethernet cord, but it's only showing 3 bars out of 5?
It supports wireless internet, so could that be the problem?
On my laptop using wireless internet from my router, the download speed and upload is way faster.
This is a windows 7.
Any ideas?

 

Try using the ethernet cable to connect with your laptop, see if it's the same problem. If it's normal speed theres deff something wrong.
