The Escort

He's the silence to the pain,
The peace after violence,
And the simplest solution to a coward's problems.
Those who remain fear him because they don't know him,
And those who have known him cannot speak of him.
He's the robber in the night,
An angel to those in agony,
The doorman to the darkness,
And the king of sadness.
He is Death.


Dark Moments

Deep blue washes over me again,
Bringing me back to this familiar place,
Behind my walls,
Castles full of secrets that only the once trusted have passed.
My walls are one way mirrors,
I sit behind them with my blade,
Which eases the pain faster then any drug or drink.
Deep red liquid relief, but only for the moment.
I see regret looking upon my scarred skin,
And the faces of my past lovers as they scan my damaged skin is that of shock.
Not only because this obsession has warped my body,
But because all my dark moments are shown upon my legs.
I am damaged goods, yet still acceptable to fill the pleasures that
Only one person can show another.
These physical moments don’t keep my empty chest filled.

Thanks, I wasn't sure about posting the second one, but I never show anyone my poems so I thought I might as well. Considering removing it though.
