Gambling ~ Staking

I might be interrested in selling a new kind of service that I will call:

Staking advantage

I would be staking other maxed players (dds no armor),
betting 50m against 25m so my stake would be twice as yours! :love:

Giving you a very good advantage at making money off me while I'll be making real money

Price: 15$ each stake

This is just a tryout to see if the sythe community would like that kind of gambling services.
I'm not offering the service yet and even if I was I couldn't as the limits on staking are yet to be removed.

 

Not trying to be a downer, but couldnt you just give them 25m for money? Lol

 

It's a stake not a trade.

 

Seems a bit stacked in your favor to be quite honest. You are receiving real life cash, and still have the risk of taking the buyers money.

The only way it could possibly work would be if you did the same thing, but you staked money and the buyer staked 0gp. This way you would still be payed, and the buyer would still have a chance at cheaper gold, but it would actually be a gamble for you instead of automatic gain.


Of course you may get some less astute members of the community (or people who think they are super pro) to take you up on that deal, so who am I to say.

 

This is the same idea as if you're both staking 50m.

It's just in different currencies.

 

Seems interesting, maybe you could include some type of measure for insurance for the buyer like you send money to an omm to cover the gold the buyer is risking for the stake. then after you successfully give him the gp the omm will send you back your money. There will be the fees an such but this might bring more customers and such.

 

Brasil I would have to charge alot more if I'm risking 50m for nothing and jagex would consider the stake suspicious.

 

I am sure you could do something with a difference and set price accordingly

10 Mill difference - $5
25 Mill difference - $15
