Gold Buying?

Hey guys, I was talking to my friend the other day and he said he got instantly banned for buying gold because the gold service sent 1,000g to his mailbox. I was thinking about buying gold for myself, but is there an automatic ban thing that can tell if your buying gold or not? I don't want to risk my account for 1k gold Anyways, if any of you guys have had experience with buying gold please post here. Thanks!

Being banned for buying gold is very rare, unless you buy a lot of gold on a regular basis. There is a solution, it is nearly undectectable because blizzard with have absolutley no proof, its is called the auction house method, and it is offered by most gold selling sites. How it works is you put an item in the AH for the set price of how much gold you are buying (i.e. 1000g), then you tell the gold seller your character name, and the name of the item. they will then buy it off the auction house. Here is the catch, many wow players overprice stuff in the auction house, so all you have to do is use an item that is normally overpriced (i.e. Crystalforged Waraxe, Proto-drake welp, tradable holiday rewards, etc). Then to blizzard it will just look like a sale.

Yea the AH method is the easiest and most safe method to date. I've never bought gold myself, but i hear people say they have never had an issue using AH to process transactions.

The first time I bought gold I was banned, that was back in the day of mailbox delivering and the big ban numbers they had. I got it back by talking shit to blizz though. So my next account I was skeptical but I have now bought about 9k and nothing yet. That's over about a month.

I've bought over 20k gold (8k once) by mail and never banned. Does anyone know if they temp ban?

 

I've bought over 50k gold and no ban, and over 50k for friends, and over 20k pre WOTLK, it's 100% safe And it's MUCH faster then farming it yourself

 

Hello, I personally have never heard of anyone being banned on WoW from buying gold, I've actually bought probably around 30-40k myself in increments of 10k in WOTLK times... Blizzard don't seem to care. One of my close friends buys almost 10k a week (I have no clue why ) and he has never been banned and/or had any sort of warning from Blizzard regarding it, so in my eyes it is totally safe.

Oh, in addition I've never done the auction house/mail method always had trades from level 1s . Infact once I got a level 80 from Inner Sanctum giving me my gold, just goes to show doesn't it (Inner Sanctum are among the best guilds EU)
