Negative mage bonus?

I'm using arbibots stun/alcher, but I need -65 mage attack bonus.


Without my lava battlestaff (Which gives unlimited fire/earth runes which is really cost-effective) I have -70, but the battlestaff takes me down to -60.

To splash 100% you need -65.


I have:
40 Defence
78 Mage
40 Range

I'm currently using:
Rune full
Rune chain
Rune Legs
Snakeskin boots (More - than rune boots)
Rune kite
Green D Vambs.




What could I use/swap? Maybe a mage - necklace or ring?

Take off neck if your wearing one, and I think you need a plate, so use Full Iron.

 

Yeah, swap your chainbody for a platebody.

 

Just use a normal earth staff? You don't really need a lava staff since you don't use firerunes.

I thought wearing range armour drives your bonus down a lot. Try that out.

tbh, buy tons of fire runes, ditch the lava staff, get a mud staff.

 

It'll be more cost effective for you to use a mud staff rather than a lava staff.

Water runes are more expensive than fire runes.

Okay guys, I've decided to stop avoiding quests and just do the dragon slayer quest so I can use rune plate, 'cos chain does look kinda' pathetic.

He's only 40 def so the granite / obsidian doesn't work for him.

He should be good with full iron plus iron boots, no ammy, neck, ring. And mud staff definitly.
