How to train a def pure?

Hey guys, i was planning on making a def pure for staking, but i was wondering how abouts do i train him? Do i soulwars it for little hp or do i just train off of NPCS with hp? And what quests do I do for a good def pure? Plan on getting 75 def with 5 attack and 10 str and staking.

sw it, attack players if u want a bit of hp but i wouldnt suggest anymore than 40 or so hp, def pures are only decent at 90~ but try and atleast get 78 for pk armour

Don't use SW at all you want hp as high as possible. There are literally hundreds of places to train if you're f2p or p2p. Do you have members?

 

Alright. Nah, i plan on getting it members at like 50+ def. Do I do Dragon slayer at all, or stick with barrows/dragon?

Do SW for fast training. Then just sw your hp, problem solved. if you get 75 def, plan on getting 70-80hp. 70 att and 30 str.

 

Get a bronze dagger and attack a monk in the monastery near edgeville.

Since they heal themselves as long as you're 1 attack and str you will not be able to kill them.

You could go all the way to 99 def on one single monk.

 

Dragon slayer gets you 18k str exp.

So if you want SOME strength then yes (not sure on what stats your going for)

if you want 1 att 1 str, then no.

 

Lol. No thanks, i'm not getting 70 att and 30 str. This is going to be a pure defence account, with 10 attack and 5 strength.

Tbh, I'm not quite sure, but you won't need as much HP as everyone thinks. Pures won't be able to hit very well through your def, so you could stay with somewhat low HP.

 

I thought they patched that. That they dont heal themeselves anymore.

Actually, you want to Soul Wars, but use the Zeals on Hitpoints AND Defence, it's the fastest way for Defence pure to train.

Keep your Hitpoints 8-9 levels under your Defence, and you'll be fine staking.
Always have maxed gear when staking.

You will need Hitpoints, I speak from experience. Pures WILL hit through your defence, when it's under 75.
