A referendum a direct vote in which an entire community is asked to either accept or denie the proposal, in this case it's bringing back the wilderness, and free trade or rejecting their offer.


In other words their is no set amount of votes needed in a referendum, these votes are based on how many people are active in the community. All though we received 1.2M votes in petition these are inaccurate, further more, based on the information in the referendum, it's clear the active accounts, do not exceed more than 1,000,000 players. Worst case scenario, people are to ignorant about themself within the community, and stick amongst themself.

Another factor to take into consideration, the millions of people who don't read the daily wall feed.

No where it states on the linkhttp://www.RS.com/wildernessthat voting must exceed one million votes to be taken into consideration. Be careful of your resources next time, players moderators do not exceed the jurisdiction behind a video game to understand what happens at the cooperate office of fagex.

All it states is that we exceeded 1.2m votes in a petition.
Referendum is different from standard voting in countries, it may defer amongst any one in your country.
