what if jagex allowed bots?

What would you be doing?

 

I would do nothing different. I don't not bot now because it's against the rules. Maybe If I still had my main I'd bot it more considering there would be no risk of ban. If jagex did allow bots places would be over crowded with bots and it would most likely cause resources to drop a lot in price.

 

I would actually bot some skills that I hate to train.

Free trade and jagex are replacing g.e with auction house, where you bid and who ever pay's the price will get it.

 

The same as I'm doing now, botting.
Unless i'd run 24/7 then lol

 

The thing that i would be doing is go to a noob and say, ''Hi noob, i own an expensive bot that does stuff for me what you got? That's right you got nothing your a no life noob that does everything by him-self.''

 

I would create an ultimate pure with loads of qp and several 99s. I tryed this before but i got banned....it was really nice too :/

 

i've always wanted a game that is purely ai scripting.
i think that's a missing market for online rpgs.

imagine being able to try and fine tune scripts and see how your little ai pets fair in the world. kind of like now i guess haha.

Same as what i'm doing now? I'd bot regardless if they allowed it. But if they sold bots, that'd be amazing. I'm sure they'd be flawless, they could make thousands upon thousands.

 

This had been discussed before, JaGeX would sell the bots. Also everyone is so sure the free trade is coming back and is going to drastically change the game again imo this update if it does come is going to increase the number of people botting due to the fact that you'll be able to transfer the money you botted to your legit account.

 

But we know nothing, for all they know there could be requirements to trade large amounts of money, like quests, time played, how long you've had the person your trading added ect.

 

That's hardly going to matter even if you have to have some quests done all of the F2P quests can be done in under a week. Also if JaGeX is going to add requirements like that to trading what's to say they don't add something like that to staking? They may add something along the lines of the trade limit such as you have to be within 600k of eachother's stakes.

 

Nothing would change for me.
My 24/7 botting would still be 24/7 botting.

 

If they allowed bots, Runescape would fail. Bots everywhere with no legit players.

 

Maybe strive to become a mod, since botting would be legal

 

As cool as it would be, Runescape would just be completely taken over by bots. So even if you could bot, nobody would want to play legit, as everything you go to do would have 500 bots doing it too.

I would honestly buy another computer (2 now) and get as many bots going on each and just run them 24/7. It'd be pretty stinkin' awesome...but alas, it will never happen and I agree with that.

 

Everyone would be maxed, and GP would be worth nothing, lol.

Sadly, I think the game would be ruined >.>

 

If botting is allowed every one would have best chars in wildy but only some would have the skills and reflexes to get a KO and kills. Other than that, rest of the places would be empty as most would've quit by then
