Briefly explain the trade: $7.00 via PayPal for 2.5mil Neopoints
How they scammed: Told me he was going to check the Neopoints after I transferred 2.5mil to his account via Trading Post and never heard from him since.
Proof that you were not talking to an impostor: Thread was from Xtragate and PM was from Xtragate

After this incident, he continues to ignore my PM and reply on the post, and he also made another new thread buying neopoints again. I posted a reply reminding him about out trade, and he once again ditched the thread. Looking at his profile, he never logged in ever again. Last log in 21th December 09:23 AM. I tried to give him a grace period to transfer the $7 after christmas, because he might be busy with preparation i thought, till today, still no single cent.

Personal note: Such a shame he had to scam for a mere $7 and throw away an account that has 450+ posts. All the potential trust, all down the drain.
On the other side, I hope he's doing fine and not involved in any freak accidents in the process of this trade since I realize he have not logged in since and anything could happen. I'll fell the pain if something did happen. I hope you're doing fine Xtragate. God bless.

Erm, I'm the one giving him NP, and he's the one that's supposed to pay me $7.
I don't think Neopets have the trade history. Or do they? (I cant remember)

I know this is gonna be hard proving that I actually did transfer the 2.5mil to him. But it could be partially proven by

1) I told him I have transferred the Neopoints.
2) After that, He told me he was going to check the transfer that I made.
3) Never replied about the trade
3) Tried to get more Neopoints by making another thread since he got through mine, and when I reminded him ON the NEW thread so other potential sellers would be aware,
4) Never appeared again on sythe.

Do you have any other suggestion to prove that I transferred the Neopoints? Do they have a history in Neopets?

 

If you can't check his bank on NP, then I just need the proof that shows you never got the $7 on Paypal

Will this do? This is a history of "Recieved Payments" from 30th November - 30th December showing that I did not receive any payments from him/her.



I'm just guessing he'll just abandon this account and start a new one... meh.
