Old donation ranks

I am planning to donate to Sythe.org soon, so I was making sure I was well informed before I started mailing money. In the Donation Centre I found the old ranks that some users still wear, and in all honesty I think they are slightly better than the new ones. Don't get me wrong, they're well-made and the designer may be proud because that's some decent GFX there. Of course I am not insinuating that this change should be made just because I consider to donate. Still, I wanted to know if there are other users who prefer the old ones, and if it turns out that the majority of users think they are better, the staff could maybe consider to change them back.

The new ones just look crap in all honesty.

Verts made the new ranks when she became admin here. A lot of people complained about them but nothing happened. Sorry but this is a lost cause, it ain't gonna happen.

 

Give users the ability to choose whether they want the old ranks or the new one.

 

Especially if were donating?

Well maybe should the staff reconsider it anyway, seeing they are making less money from donations.

 

I think the only problem is the cash stacks. If they were all maxed out like the old ones were, it would look a lot better. >_<


+ I think if you donate you should be able to chose which one you want. ( legacy or the new ones.)

To sum it up you can no longer get the old ranks for new donations. If you want to donate and get the donation benefits, but you do not like the rank, you can always request that for the rank not to be displayed, or you can donate $300 and then have anything that you want, as long as the center icon is a cash stack.

 

@Pureown, yes, I realise that's the current situation. That is why I suggest to change it .

 

Honestly, I'm a fan of the new ones. My claws are sexy. I think the masks are ugly, which is actually one reason I haven't donated $100.

 

Old ones are better. I think users should be able to choose between old/new.

Or, you could just donate $300 and pick your own ranks...

Why are you all so negative? If we manage to convince the staff that there would be more donations, we stand a chance. Well, at least I hope so.

 

though, i just realized, that if they change so that anyone can get the old versions, then noone would know i've been around long enough to get those.

Old ones are definitely better, new ones were well thought-out but just look pale in comparison.

I hope the staff try to compromise.

 

I like the old for the simple reason of the cash stacks. The new cash stacks are just discouraging, and look small and meaningless. While a 5$ donation isn't that much I would rather have no cash stack with just the whips than the small cash stack in between.
