HUGE Duel Arena bug

While messing in the Duel Arena with Mattjew, we discovered a glitch/bug, whatever you want to call it, that gives a HUGE advantage in the duel arena, particularly in box stakes.

To give an example of how much this bug helps, my account (93 flats) beat Mattjew's account (99 flats) 10/10 times in the Duel Arena using the bug. Not always by a landslide, but 10/10 wins is pretty damn good.

We can't release too much information about this bug, but it's been verified by two trusted official guide verifiers. (Found below)

There are requirements for this bug, but most mains with high melees (which is who this guide will benefit mostly) will already have the requirement, as its extremely common for bossing etc.

Just to clarify, this isn't only useful in box stakes. It shines in box stakes, but you will still have a very distinct advantage in any kind of stake you choose to do.

@uselesspoop No, it's not that huge of a difference. But, staking people your own level, you're basically guaranteed to win. As I mentioned in the first post, my account with 93 attack, strength, and defence beat Mattjew's account with 99 attack, strength, and defence in a box stake 10/10 times. We also tested it with DDS stakes afterwards, and I won 9/10 of them.

@Basco Yes, we will fully refund anybody we've sold a guide to if it is patched before, or within 24 hours of unlimited staking being put back into the game.

It's not luck-based at all, and I can't test it with you, because seeing the bug in action will give you a big hint at what it is and you may be able to work out the bug for yourself.

I've pm'ed Tmoe to get the guide verified, I'm hoping it'll be verified by tomorrow and he can tell you what a huge advantage it gives you in duels.

 

Very interested in this guide- I know you'll be getting it verified, but is there any way you would do the reverse of what Brotha_Verac stated above, where you beat my maxed main with a flat 93s account? Also, do you think it is possible to be banned for using this bug?

./facepalms <-- after re-reading your post specifically in the "is it possible to be banned" part. But yeah, is this bug obvious? Will other people know and report you for it is? That's more what I'm asking.

 

I think that's the same thing Brotha_Verac was asking, but no I cannot do that. Yes, it will be obvious that you are abusing a bug, which is why I'd only recommend this for very large stakes rather than using it many times on 1M stakes. You will likely be reported, as the person will be mad you're basically cheating them out of a large amount of cash, but whether or not you'll get banned for say two uses of the bug is questionable.

Like I said to Brotha, I can't do the bug with you as it will provide you with a huge clue as to how to do it, and there's a chance of you working it out on your own. However, once it's verified, hopefully Tmoe will post reinforcing what a HUGE impact this bug has on the outcome of duels. (I say it has a huge outcome because there's no way to say 100% "you will win every stake," however it is near impossible to lose a box stake against someone with similar stats using this bug, unless by some huge coincidence, you get matched up with someone else I've sold the bug to).

I myself have thought I found a bug similar to what your describing. But this was on pures. But our bug varied from worlds and client used.

So, could you test your method on different worlds ranging from low-pop to high pop? And use different clients, example rsbot client vs browser client

 

You can do it on any world, and any client. It has absolutely no effect whatsoever.

They'll probably know something is up, but probably not exactly. I wouldn't recommend exposing the same person to the bug over and over.
