Near-Death Experiences

I think we need to get these out into the open because I believe we have a good diverse group of people here.

I almost died when I fell off a cliff on a 12,400 FT Mountain in Colorado and then I was almost killed by a wolf who didn't attack.

 

I've almost drowned when I was a child. I was saved by a surfer, who seemed to come out of nowhere. I thank God for that.

 

I was almost killed when I was born. The umbilicle cord was wrapped around my neck.

 

How tragic!

Shows that even God can't clean up a big enough mistake.

 

Hmm... I had heart problems as a very young child, but I wouldn't really say that's really a near death experience. One time when I was about 7-8 I stumbled on a rock and went face first into a stick pointing out of the ground. Thankfully it missed my actual eye, but it came very close. Whether I would have died from it going through my eye I'm not sure, but that's the best I've got.

Nope, never had anything major. Apart from a hot water spill when I was a baby I haven't really had any bad physical injuries...

 

How did you avoid death with the cliff fall? And not getting attacked isn't a near death experience tbh, maybe if you had to fight it off, that would have been near death

He probably meant thank god for sending down that angel to save him.

 

Was in a car wreck, the guard rail went over the hill. Thankfully we didn't, or me and 2 of my friends would be dead; was a pretty steep and long decline... :|

 

Once I was acting like a dumbass balancing on some rocks along the side of a path, but I fell and started to slide down the side of the path.

The path was at the edge of a very large gorge, at least 40-50m deep. It had a buffer zone of a few meters of plantlife before the dropoff. I was sliding down this bufferzone and was unable to stop myself.

Near the end of the bufferzone, I took a fern between the legs. It slowed me down enough to allow for me to pull myself back up.

 

Obviously I thanked the surfer at the time. I thank God for watching out for me though. Also, when I was swimming out there, there were no surfers. Maybe it was an angel, maybe not, I will never know.

 

Almost got ran over by a train who didn't blow his whistle when I crossed the tracks in my car.

 

I was on a poorly built roller coaster which was pretty fast for a kiddy ride, I wanted to show off to my cousin so I leaned really far out and there were these steel bars with a flag on top every 3 feet, almost got hit but i had this weird feeling that made me go back.

 

Almost got run over by a train after falling on the train tracks while cycling down a hilly street, for the first time in my life. Blacked out for a few minutes, woke up right before the train was around 50-60 m away!

 

was goin 60 in a 35 high as fuck. didnt notice cars stopped ahead for light. i slammed on breaks but wouldnt make it in time so i just swerved off into a ditch. put it in reverse n punched it out of there. all was like a few days after i got license.

not sure if i would have died, but shit was scary.

 

Never had any near death experiences. However in dreams i always seem to jump of of biuldings. Which is quite scary.

 

Maybe you should look both left and rright before crossing

One time I almost choked to death eating protein powder. I thought I would die but then I drank some water and was able to breathe again.
