Staking with this?

Hey everyone,

My account is 66 combat with these stats

60 attack

82 strength

1 defense

90 ranged

13 prayer

94 magic

72 constitution

It has over 200m, including an AGS and Claws. Can i stake with this? DDS stake? maybe dart or boxing stake?

any suggestions for this account?

 

Defense is way too low and strength is too high for that attack. You'll be ddsed out in 4 specs.

No need for prayer but it's too late for that. Get def up.

 

Apparently no one in this thread knows what DDS staking was/is. Other than having prayer, it's fine. If you had 1 prayer, it would be perfect. DDS special 4 times, then switch to CVLS. Win.

 

You will beat any mains your level in ddsing. Other pures and you, odds are 50/50. Pretty solid account-- and don't worry too much about prayer.

 

If you're wanting big stakes get your attack/strength/defence/hp to 99

 

So dds staking im alright in then yeah? besides prayer.

Should I have not done DT for barrage?

 

DDS staking is everything but the weapon slot turned off, no magic, no ranged. So for staking, DT isn't going to be a huge help unless you plan on doing mage staking. Not sure how popular mage staking will be at your level, either.

 

I used to stake every day in 05-06 and having def is a major advantage the more you can sponge the higher advantage you have, it doesn't matter if the guy has 99 str if you have 50 def you will most likely win.

I made my bank staking with a 60-80-50

Staking with 60-92-1 and 1 prayer, I'd start by picking 50k worth of snape grass, and stake it up to a green mask or so before getting cleaned. I won 80% of my stakes with 1 defense. If you can tell me better stats for the same combat level that he has on his account, then please do, but I don't see 60-82-1 or whatever he was being beaten by 55-55-55 in DDS stakes with everything but the weapon slot turned off (as it's supposed to be). If he wanted to box, it'd be a different story. Like Mattjew said, DDS/CVLS will win most fights for him, other than the occasional 50/50 shot he has with other pures that are his level. Or, if there's a "Disable PVP Gear" option when staking comes out, then DDS/D Scim.

 

60 attack doesn't hit through 50 def like it does a 1 def it will destroy their specs to keep them from k0ing you while you have time to finish your specs.

 

About half of my DDS stakes were on mains, not other pures. Mains of higher combat than me, too. 60 attack and 80 str hits harder on 50 defense than 60 attack, 40 str, and 50 defense would hit on 1 defense.

60-80-1 and 60-40-50 are the same combat level btw, if you're wondering where those numbers came from. Unless you chose to have low hp, which would be stupid for staking.
