How to make this account a pro staker

So i've had this account for over 5 years now. and i want to turn it into a successfull range staker/ def staker with high attack low stength high defence. what do you guys reccomend me doing to this account to make it as successful as possible in the duel arena?

 

70 attack 40 str 70 defence.

 

what about a def range staker?

 

Don't.
Melee>Range, and most people will be melee stakers.

But if the melee has low defence and you have 60 ranged, dragon bolts...
