Haven't played RS in forever, might get back bc of free trade

-Will I be able to trade between my accounts without chance of getting banned for transferring?

-Site says "The Grand Exchange would remain, but with the lower and upper price limits removed". What does the limits removed mean?

-It is unlikely you will get banned, you could always say giving 100 mill free or whatnot and trade, that's what i use to do and never got banned, also you could stake it and win it on the account you want the money on.

-It means currently the GE has a limit of how low you can offer for a item on the ge and how high, this will be removed so you can buy items for whatever price, no limits on how high or low to sell or buy items.

 

I doubt you would be banned.. There are multiples ways of xfering it tbh.

1. Trading, ofcourse.
2. Die in wild with other account.
3. Drop trade, I dont know if they will have the limit of like 10k but you used to be able to drop anything or any amt of gp and after certain amount of time it appears for all players too see. So if you found a secret spot you could get both accts drop it on one.. Log off, Log on another and recieve the cash Theres a bit of risk in tht tho.
4. Dueling/Staking, Easy all you do put up cash as your offer have a friend or person selling you gold W/E and you kill them in the duel arena and just like tht you have the gold

 

Damn it's going to be weird having a free market compared to a controlled one

Yeah, but if you were playing RS before the removal of free trade, it should be easy to re-adjust to it. Also, the G.E will still be there which would be a huge benefit.

 

I was playing, but I can't remember buying anything :L (I was a bit of a noob back then though).

However, with the removal of GE limits I wonder how easy it is going to be to sell items for good cash, and to buy them too.

 

its nothing hard you alot of autoers with auto typers its just like world 2 or 1

Best way I traded was getting whoever i was selling gold for to stake me equal amounts, didnt get caught until i started doing unbalanced trades, drop trading is also detectable, and logging into 2 accounts at once can be a bad idea sometimes, espically if they are improving their systems.

 

1. I highly doubt it, but to be safe i would either use duel arena, or die in the wildy.
2. Items will be able to sell really easy for a good price im guessing.

well 'if' there is the update to the wildly and trade i'd say wait a while to see how things goes. I'm sure many other ppl want to do the same thing you're trying to do =)

 

Atm you have a max and minimum price for any item in the GE.

After update, they will be removed and you will be able to set any price for an item.

It can't get much more fucked up than it already is, lol.

At least they'll probably be removing pvp statuettes from the drop table, and so inflation will go down.

 

So they'll keep the medium price? Then people can sell however they want above or below it?

I played before the trade limit, I liked the time with the GE and free trade. You could do what you want but had limits. It'll probably take time for me to get used to the free market, but I bet I'll like it in the end

How'd you convince them to stake an equivalent amount? Guessing the account was level 3 and had no chance at killing them?

 

I think he meant he was transferring between accounts so he'd multi log on or have friend log on one account and they'd let one account win (ie. not even attack with one account or use crappy weapon, etc)

I don't get how the ge would work though, because no one would have a base price to know what to sell or bid at?

 

Guessing it will be just like the pre-summoning days, street prices will establish themselves over time. Hopefully merch clans haven't bought out particular items in order to establish their own prices. Players will have to use the forums along with trading in person if one can call it that.
