sk8erbot's mining guide

hey, my name's sk8erbot, and i thought that since alot of people have to pay to level mining, since its such a long skill to train, i'd offer my advice:

step 1: choose your ore; the ore you choose is perhaps the most important aspect of mining. granite is supposedly the best experience for lower levels, however, i reccommend using the fally mining areas. The level 15 dungeoning area has 3 iron spots, and is right next to a deposit box, making it perfect, especially for poorer players. In 2 days i've been able to mine over 2million gp worth of iron ore with a simple script by henry which i will attach to this thread http://www.rs.xunra.info/henrysMiner6.java

step 2; get your bonus items right; varrock armour 1 is extremely easy to get, and can make a real difference, all the varrock armours offer a increasing probability of recieving to ores from a single rock, and recieving xp from each of them. This can greatly increase xp/hour
get your penace horn fully charged, this doubles the xp you get, and takes alot less time to charge than you will spend using it.
use the right pick; use a sacred pickaxe if possible, but a rune or dragon is more than good enough, but beware as dragon pickaxes are falling!

step 3: if possible, you might want to use a familiar to increase your mining level. Although this is invisible, it can really increase your xp/hour, especially on gold and coal stacks

Looks like a good guide but is the program safe? Like with antibans ans sort ?

 

i use kminer, its safe, i got 85 mining from 67 in under a week and 15mil
