Gonna make a staking account

I've been mining on a skiller for some time and have enough cash on it to start transforming it into a staker in time for the update,
It's gonna be f2p until I get the jist of it (which trust me will be awhile)

What build would pwn in f2p and be good in members aswell when I decided to hop over?

I'm thinking def pure, but what stats before I start staking (f2p) and what gear etc

 

To be honest, i'd go for a range pure they are easily made and don't need alot of time put into them and are great for making alot of cash if you know how to stake, goodluck.

 

I would suggest getting members. With the introduction of soulwars, people are going to have accounts with ridiculous stats at low level combat. This will give them so much of an edge, even if they do stay in f2p to stake.

I have 2 suggestions.

1. train attack and strength and defense manually. only get 20 strength. train attack and strength so that you can get a desired hp level. maybe like 40 or 50hp.

then go to soulwars and soulwars.

end result should look like this:

Combat level 56

Atk: 70
Str: 20
Def: 70
Range: 1
Magic: 1
HP: 40

wear torags, obsidian shield, and use whip.


2. train range and defense manually until you have desired hp level. The soul wars defense to 70 and range to 60

end result should look like this:

Combat level 56

Atk: 1
Str: 1
Def: 70
Range:60
Magic: 1
HP: 40

use torags, obsidian shield and obsidian rings.

what you want to do when at the duel arena is look like a 1 def pure. wear all of the 1 defense equipment for pures. Make sure for the rules armor is not turned on. Then when the match starts, simply put on your torags and get raged at.

 

For a f2p staker I would do high attack and defense and low strength.

Prayer is pointless.

 

Actually, I put it on the combat calculator, and you can have:

70atk, 20str, 70def, 40hp, and 60 range

and still be lvl 56 combat. I think this is a good staker.
