Pure selling section - Rule change.

I noticed that in the account selling section for pures the rules are this -

All of the following types of accounts DO NOT belong in this section
•Tanks of any type
•Barrows pures (70 or 70+ defence )
•Any main

Well I sorta have a problem with that.

Range tanks are maxed same level zerkers are maxed.

They are also in the same clans as zerker pures.

Zerker and tanks are two competing types of accounts, but also they work together.

Therefore I belive tanks should be allowed to be sold in the pure section.

Also the "other account" section gets a lot less views so this kinda does matter. I plan on seeling a tank ranger soon.

 

I dont see how they can say the word 'Pure' in Barrow's Pure and not include it in the section.

 

Pure doesn't necessarily mean 1 def accounts.

 

barrow pures aren't pures. they are mains lol.

you could call anything a pure.
To me an account is a main on 55 defence.
on 50defence your still a runepure, untill 53 def you can be considered as a runepure.

I agree that the distinction of "pure" should be allowed for range tanks and barrows pures. I see these sold in P&S all the time, though. Mods generally don't do much about it.

I often see a lot of inappropriate (meaning wrong section) accounts for sale in the Pures & Skillers sections. I usually report them, and they often do get removed after I report them, but there isn't much being done to restrict idiots from posting in the wrong section in the first place.

Still, I never report a range tank or barrows pure from being in Pures & Skillers 100-138. I doubt any mods would move it, anyway. That rules should be changed imo. However, a barrows pure IS 70 defense, and nothing higher. There is a lot of exp between 70 and 71. A 71 defense account is a main, in my opinion.

 

Well.. the thing is, barrows pure can be up to 117 cb without summoning, thats like a main. Lol

Range tanks have to be range based or they arent aloud in clans etc. They do this to control combat. You cant have over 150 att/str.

Making a range tank max 106 with 1 sum 52 prayer, same as zerker.

I was always given the impression that pure meant 1 defence. When I saw that the thread included ALL accounts under 69 defence and lower, I was actually shocked.

 

I don't see the big deal...why does it matter what section you can or can't post your account in? If some one is looking for a range tank they will check both sections.

 

If it has defence, i don't think it should be classed as a pure.

 

The argument shouldn't be what is or isn't a pure, we had to draw the line at some point and we chose to draw the line at tanks and barrows ACCOUNTS. I don't see the real problem with this if you are looking to buy/sell one of these accounts then please just look in the main section.
