Lol sarcasm at its best. I believe that the update could take awhile. Last poll I followed was the vote on the dragon scimitar update and that took almost a month after the vote closed. That update was very small compared to this one. I think its gonna be awhile.

They most likely have this all planned out because they knew the yes vote would win. I say maybe 30th if we're lucky but if not then 20th of Jan.

/facepalm....they're going to release both of them on the same day, not separate them.

I heard from several people that it'd be released on the 30th or Jan. 1, 2011. However, no one can confirm anything.

Yea, consensus seems to lean to sooner rather than later, and tbh I have to agree. I doubt JaGeX would be oblivious enough to have a poll out on a massive update as this without already having alot of it already worked out, especially on a topic that is so controversial within the runescape community already. Also, the Mod Mark chat pics seem to lead to the fact that although they didn't answer EVERYTHING, they did hint that they had put ALOT of thought into this already and my guess is that with the confidence they have in this new coding and update, it has already been tested, polished, and is waiting for the official "ok guys, 90% you win!"

Im guessing earliest would be New Years obviously and at the latest the mid-month January update.

My guess is not until at *least* mid january. There's just too many quests and minigames and shit that they have to relocate.

 

They are not going to say a date, because it would screw up the value of pking supplies. It is more lax if the update is in the vague future.
