Ahshit. The same stakers DO exist. Ever heard of "Win All Day", the most succesful staker EVER? Still plays. Doubt he'll quit when the Duel Arena comes out. Yes, it'll depend on your opponent, but it'll take time to find such an idiot to keep prayer on. That would be wasting of time & runes, and wouldn't change the result AT ALL.

 

no i haven't actually i dont like watching vids on rs but will take ur advice on watching mage boxers .
sorry if u misunderstood but therell be alot of 2k8 prods around who are unfamilliar with the rules of staking at least for the first week or two and even then it might be preferable for them to use prayer.

Believe me, I've staked AND played RS so much that I can predict the situation.

 

2003-2007 i was an on and off player and even then didn't see staking as a good source of income idk y. So im not gna argue your predictions and agree with them fully just sayin its a prediction we can only assume and cant call bs on the assumptions of others

I like your guide. Book marked. Also tell me if this setup would be any good for low level stakes? I have cash to work with for gear and such so keep that in mind. 20-20-60. I can get lower def if needed. 50'ish hp. Everything else one. Would the account be good for corrupt shit? How any levels should I fight up? I'd always be using maxed shit nearly. No point in classic staking if you can make more the other way. Anybody can call me a prod if they want, I just call it smart. Would lower def be better for lower combat? Obviously lower hp too though. Should I get lower attack or strength? I want to get 20 attack that's for certain. Should I get attack and strength up too? Please do note that corrupt vesta longsword has mad ass hits. It's so freaking accurate.

 

The max hit difference between Mithril Scimitar and Vestas' Longsword is only 43 LP, at 20 Strength. Also the Vestas Longswords' price will rise, due to they're going to be more rare. You would have to be staking 5M~ each time your using it. Not going to happen in the low lvls, just use the mithril scimitar if you've 20 Attack.

As for the stats, I'd suggest you to get 10 Attack, 5 Strength when your only 60 Defence, believe me, you'd still own. When your reach 75 Defence, go ahead and train 20 Attack.

Oh, and one more point to the case of Vestas' Longsword. The point of Defence pures is not hitting high, it's to avoid getting hit. You don't need Vestas', because you'll win anyway. Sure you can have it in your inventory to feel safe, but you won't need it. Again, I speak from personal experience.

 

Not really going for higher hits, just more for the accuracy.

 

Oh, I just noticed that the Corrupt version only costs 3.9M.
So it might actualyl be a good option for the 3-4M duels.

Mithril Scimitar hits through 1 Defence so accurately that you won't notice the difference between Vestas' and mithril

Also, Mithril Scimitar is faster.

But against other tankers, in high risk duels, you could use Vestas'.

Alright. I know it's faster but much less accurate. For the other tanker's thing, yeah only good reason to use it. ; )
