I don't know if it is wise to post about luring, since the topic is being reviewed as scamming or not at the moment.

People always lure, and biggest I've ever heard of is some dude that tricked someone into a phat staking duel and turned off everything but range, and the other guy didnt bring range weps, was hilarious. some lvl 80 nub use knives for like 15 minutes on some lvl 120, all the while him begging him to stop, lol.

As for me, I'm going to wait for the verdict on whether sythe is ok with luring or not before I post anything more, including anything that concerns me. LOL

 

true, but i think luring is fair game imo. if your knieve enough to go for a stack of coin not knowing if its 10k or 100m you deserve to lose your items.

yes I'm very excited for luring. I've been luring a little bit here and there since the wildy update but the best are the old wildy.

I've lured phats I use to lure with Jojo3000 If anyone knows him my best lure was like 800m cash with green maask and like 20k rune arrows with like 100k flax In like 06

 

It's kind of like hacking/phishing, wouldn't you agree?

 

No, it's not really scamming. It's just outsmarting another
player and taking their items.

 

I would argue that you're doing the same thing when you're attempting to phish another player.

 

I'm not people are to aware of luring now so there won't be many that fall for it.

 

It's nothing like hacking or phishing. The person has control of their account. If you steal someone password and then lure yourself then its hacking/phishing. If they go somewhere that you can kill them they should lose their items. Plain and simple.

 

Sythe even had a luring sections ages ago. They supported it completely.

 

They also had a thread for Pin selling and they supported it completely now it's different.

On topic I've never lured anybody. When i was a noob and had like a week playing a dude lured me and made me lost my hard-earned 3k lol and that made me think seriously about leaving the game ahahha.

I personally think luring is great, it's a fun time. It could be an art form actually, so many different styles out there. Yes getting items from luring is nice, but I like the feel of hunting the person down if they run from it.

 

It's not against in-game rules...why would it be against sythe rules?

It's just killing someone in the wilderness. They know they are there and they know the risk.
