vls stakin?

isnt that going to rule at staking? vls spec instead of a dds spec....

 

thats stupid.... unless your staking phats and shit its not worth it to spend 20mil for a 5mil stake or something. Its a pvp weapon too i doubt itll be allowed in the DA.

 

I really hope there's something like a "No Degradable" option so classic staking can take place.

No way VLS would be used over dds. It's slower which is the main reason for it not being used. Also, DDS spec hits TWICE, which gives you 2x potential to hit.

 

I'm probably wrong but isn't the DDS the weapon that can deal most damage with its specs? It hits twice and 4 times so it hits 8 times in total making it the best spec item?

 

Also note that vls special only hits good when people are in full armor.
it's part of the special's effect.

If people have no armor on, it's trash.... and it's trash on 1def pures

Claws requires shield available, which means they can dfs vls or dfs rapier or dds dfs etc lol

 

+1. The no degradable (weapons) thing/no PVP stuff is a great idea.

 

Vesta longsword I doubt will be a popular special weapon but corrupt vesta longsword will be a popular low combat weapon.

 

I hope they add more in-depth rules.

there are no rules to big stakes or small stakes lol it will all be the same, lets just jagex puts a olschool option of no pvp shit etc, just dds and whip like the good old day

on topic, for every hit vls hits, it will cost only 11k. therefore if u hit 10 times, it till cost 110k. for even a 2m - 5m stake, the cost will still be managable.

vls is also much more accurate than dds's

 

That it's armour piercing doesn't mean it hits more on someone wearing armour than someone it isn't, it just means the armour is ignored when calculating the hit damage.

I think VLS's will be used quite a lot in staking once it comes out.
