Need help making a server

Hey Sythe,
im planning on making a RSPS somewhat based off Ritzscape( just saying ritz because its one of the main ones ive played..and i know theres many more if any1 has a better idea please feel free to tell me, im very open to opinions)
But i havent the slightest clue on what to do 1st..or any thing tbh..
ive read guides and such but nothing.
could any1 help me out? if so add my msn [email protected] and tell me your Sythe name so i know who you are
also is it possible to have a 317 server with 612 items?

Also if any1 could compile all the links and codes and email them to me in what order to do things, id be willing to pay..not a huge fee tho.

 

Look on Moparscape forums or RuneLocus, they have some good guides.
Download a base, I would recommend an old SD (Before graphics update) one, like a 317.
Then start editing the .java files to personalise it, before compiling them which is kinda like saving your progress. Then find a way to host it and get your name out there!
Good luck, if you want a more detailed guide, like how to edit the .javas, im sure those sites have loads.

 

Ok when i edit the client.Java file and try to load the game it says, Cannot Find Main Class:Gui Program will exit..wtf?

 

Got it all now i just need to figure out how to get it out to people so they can play it with me im gettin kinda bored

 

You need either a webclient or a downloadable client; most people use no-ip to host (i think), google it. Then, advertise, advertise, advertise! Good luck )
