How DID Jojo3000 lure?

Hey everyone, just wondering.. exactly HOW did jojo3000 lure. I used to lure aswell, I don't think I used the same technique. I'm wondering if anyone knows EXACTLY how jojo3000 tricked his victims into going into the wilderness.

making them risk a bit for the reward of getting a lot more

 

From what I know, this was his process:

-Found rich player, told them to follow him or something (this is the one thing I'm unsure about, what he told them)
-Rich player would follow him, and he'd get them close to the wilderness border
-His partner who is a pure, would drop 10k, then run a bit away, far, but just close enough so he could still see the money on the ground
-The 10k, since it looks like it could be anything over 10k, the rich person runs into the wilderness.
-Pure ice barrages the person (I believe?) freezing the person for a moment as well as hurting them, then running up and dds specing them.
-Rich person dies, pure takes wealth and shares.

It may be a bit different, but that's the basis of it all

 

Showing them all her rares which made them trust her. Then telling them to follow them and they could walk around edge. Then they said they dropped 1m out there but it was really only 10k, and if they wanted it they could get it. Well thats what I THINK happened.

 

He would show them in a trade window anywhere from 50M-300M.

He would DROP the cash. Shit load of cash on the ground.

There are videos of him dropping 192M and 284M

They would go about and try to grab the cash quick and get back.

Sometimes jojo lost millions, but most of the time he gained millions.

 

You could foil his plan by just telegrabbing the cash, lol.

 

I'm almost positive jojo never dropped Mills. He dropped 10k, which appeared to be Mills .

Still wondering how he actually got them to the bar / follow him there.

 

I use to find people on forums near my combat level, and have a friend tell them he would sell them an item and to meet edge. He would then tell them to either meet west at oziach's house or that he was chopping trees to the east. When they came and clicked trade 1 step into wild i'd ice barrage dds them.

i dont remember how he did it but he would split the stack of 50m+ or w/e that he showed and would drop only 10k in the wild. He made it seem like it was the amount he showed bc he never went to bank or anything.

The rest people have already said.

 

Jojo was the "Talker" and he had friends prepared to kill the person.

- He found someone of the required level who was rich. (Either by posting on forums or looking on forums for people selling rares and pmed them and highscored them for the correct combat level)

- He would then gain their trust by showing them his rares.

- He then said there was a drop party or so and coins would appear soon.

- Because back then anything over 10k+ dropped on the floor looked as though it was the same amount of money, so the 10k dropped on the floor he could pretend was 20m or so.

- Person would run into wildy (before barrier crap)

- Pick up coins > Owned by his team mates.

- Mass profit.

I know EXACTLY how Jojo lured. He dropped 10k. I'm not going any further into it, but you can find a very simple outline of it online, I'm not mentioning where.

 

He/she told them they were filming for youtube.

I fell for the trick back in old wild.

Hey we're filming for youtube. Going to put it on zybez/tip.it bring all your best armour and things we will show how rich you are.

(Me stupidly packs inventory)

I get lured into wildy. blitz'ed and spec'd. Just before i die i click teleport.

Safe and sound. 10k richer.

 

That's not how he did it

 

Thats how i got caught out back in the day.

 

Jojo was only the talker. What he did was:

- Get someone rich of the required levels.
- Show him rares/cash to gain their trust.
- Drop the cash in the wilderness (he did drop over 10k a few times, but usually it was only 10k).
- The one who was being lured tried to pick up the cash and got barraged/speced to death.

At least he tried to lure a few of my friends with this, not sure if he changed the method after a while though.

 

Yeah that's the outline of it but he did something very special which is why he got so many people.

I thought the same. Never managed to find out what he did although I did a few lures myself (good old days )

 

many people followed suit with the same method though, pretty hiliarious to see people fall for it.
