Jagrolled?

i haven't played rs in a while, but now that im back on the boards ive been hearing talk of jagrolled? what exactly is this, and do you get perma-banned for botting or just rolled back? how does it work?

 

Most of the times these days people have just been getting their stats rolled back for botting (aka jagrolled), but there still have been some bans.

 

Only rolled back I believe. JaGRoll'd is a term used when your stats have been reset (example; from 99 to 5) for botting.

 

so if i bot def it will roll it back to 5 so i can make a pure?

 

jagex is trying to prevent rolling back of defense now

 

The number is not always 5. It's random and decided by JaGex. RossDuggan said that the lowest they reset to is 5 which is why I used it as an example.

 

First you get jagrolled has a warning...then you get banned. :/

 

They're still rolling back as well as banning, but rollbacks seem to be more common.

Maybe that's just because more people post about it though.

I'd advise against botting with the intention of getting a rollback, it probably won't end well.
