Wilderness/Free Trade is a joke..

Just my simple explanation about this new feature. JaGeX said they would never bring back the wilderness, and even also stated they didn't lose that many members in December 2007 due to the update.

If you also read closely on here , it states that they would need the majority of their players to vote. RuneScape has over 100 million accounts, so there would be a need for at least 10 million or so, and if they were being technical, 50 million.

JaGeX won't bring back the wilderness, it's a publicity stunt to gain attention and traffic, if people believe them, they come back and train, therefore JaGeX makes more money. It's all about the money. Just like their $10,000/mo contest, 20,000 people subscribe, they make millions and only give $10,000.

Don't get over excited, JaGeX will lose money by bringing back the wilderness from all the RWT, botting etc.

It's a publicity stunt, and it's fake.

I highly doubt there are 100 million accounts. I doubt there is even 50m. I know there are many accounts. 100 million is excessive. This isn't a publicity stunt either. They have been talking it up like mad, they wouldn't do if they weren't going to bring it back.

 

You're a faggot who can't see what's right in front of him. JaGex is not dumb to ruin what little trust the players have in them. Take a look at my thread, do you think I provided falso info? Do you think Zybez would provide false info? It's not even April, so don't think it's April Fools.

JaGex needs long-term players, not short-terms. What good would it do gaining a bunch of players temporarily.

Okay Kid. Anyway there is lil over 20m accounts that have been created, i read somewhere where majority of the accounts were from goldfarmers and have been banned. Anyway Jagex is going to do the right thing in then end im sure of it.

 

The more real world trading/botting the more dump accounts made. The more dump accounts made the more memberships paid.

You are either a troll or completely retarded. For one, 100 million accounts have been created, but only about 10 million are active (logs in at least once a month). Also, since "phase 2" of this vote was instated, there just has to be more "yes" votes then "no" votes. And since there obviously will be, free trade and wildy WILL be coming back. Think logically: do you really believe Jagex would get everyone excited about this and then not bring it back. It would be PR suicide.
