My view is that jagex is removing trade limit because they are trying to attract new players not bring back old players.

Lets think about it- It has been 3 years since free trade was removed. In 3 years, kids who played rs got over it. Since most of the pkers were teens not 12 years olds, they would be in college now. No one is going to play rs in college. For example, I was in 8th grade, Now I am a junior.

Staking will be different- Old school staker think they will win with the same tactics as before. Witness the power of the Korsai sword, overloads, turmoil, soul split, claws.....The list goes on. For example back in the day it was whips to dds, today with the same rules Korsai sword to chaotic rapier. New rules will apply. Low level stakes had many tanks, intiate will dominate them due to pvp amour such. Not to be a downer for those old school

However I fully support this especially if we can pk with untradables. My pker account is maxed 60 attack turmoil zerker. Zerker was based on untradables, now the potential of zerker will be realized. Good update

Most players also don't realize how nasty 2007 rs was. For example, trust game, trimming armour, luring, full lobster invo trick. Those things will come back. Remember guthan spear to leaf bladed spear?

Also a lot of questions about prices. The bot armies will come back not matter what fagex does. Prices such as sharks, logs will go down. Rares will go down. Santa never passed 25mil before 2007. It will fall back down to those prices

Trust game was hilarious, back in my noob days, my brother lost about 2m (we considered a lot :p) in a trust game, funniest thing.

I play RS and I'm in university. umad?

But it would probably attract a lot of the older players too. Nobody can quit RS just like that if they cared so much about one aspect of the game changing. Trust me, the old pkers will be back and making videos in no time.

The players that return will have to adapt. The removal of wildy and free trade was the main reason why the left the game. They'll come back.

"nasty" LMAO. There are nasty tricks in runescape today. Ever hear of merching clans? I can still talk people into pvp worlds with out food; it isn't very hard to do. So don't act like luring went away.

I haven't really played rs in a few months/anymore but I think it will bring the game back to a better time. Merching clans will be fucked (which is a good thing) also I suspected the value of gold will drastically go down.(back to where it should be, there's been lost of inflation)

that's all I got to say I guess.

2007 was the best time of my (runescape) life i quit after that only coming back recently for dungeoneering.
im looking forward to wilderness' return i cant wait to use soulsplit barrage and arcane stream ^^.
wilderness will be even better than it previously was.
as for overloads i really hope they allow that to be used in wilderness but i doubt they will since there not allowed in the current pvp or bh worlds.

    Pics or gtfo, thanks.

OT: So? Low level tanks will just buy full statius and dominate as they did for 5 years in old RS?
