As some of you may already know, I started RuneFagging again from scratch. However, it seems I've missed a lot of things since I was gone. I'd like someone to fill me in on what you can gain from the new dungeons (in Dungeoneering), etc.



Also, what do I do with this account? I've done too much melee on my previous one, and quite frankly I'm getting tired of it. I'd like to make a ranged pure or something along those lines, and maybe even go tank later on. Question is, will it be worth it all?

Should I get membership now? Or do a bit of skilling before I do? What levels should I get? I've already planned on doing every free quest.

What else am I missing? Is the account good?

 

i think the best dungeon you can get into is the frost dragon dungeon at lvl 85, frost bones are worth 14k i think.

Making a pure would be a good idea with the bring back the wildy vote up, which pure thats up to u.

 

totally unrealistic. First getting 85 dungeoneering on a range pure is going to take longer than him getting 30m range xp.

Back to reality, mine pure ess for now. Then SWs is ur best bet. If ntot rain at ogres after doing plague city+biohazard

 

Definitely make a range tank, do some skilling then get some membership once you have around 1.5m and buy some stuff to advance your range level.

I am doing that right now.

 

The main dungeoneering rewards involve weapons you can buy after you get ~80, and dungeons you can enter at 45 and 85 dungeoneering.

At 45 you can enter the mining resource dungeon - it has a couple of runite rock spawns and is good for runite hopping.

At 85 you can enter the frost dragon resource dungeon, but I don't think you'll be getting that far with your dungeoneering anytime soon.

Thanks for the advices, but that still lives a few questions unanswered...

A) Should I get Prayer up? I'm gonna be Dungeoneering so I need to decide which item to aim for beforehand. Might buy the bonecrusher, looks extremely useful but then again, once I max prayer, it'll be useless...
B) Should I keep Attack and Strength at 1? I don't know, it looks good now but if I don't, I won't be able to do a few quests.
C) Are there any big updates after Resource Dungeons came out that I should be aware?

 

For skilling try, fishing, cooking, mining.
Range pure?
try get 80+ range, then got to a tank maybe?

 

I'd say get prayer, but don't bother with the bonecrusher.

A few friends of mine who slay a lot bought it, but soon discarded it or just left it to rot in the bank. They weren't happy with it.

 

To what level though?

What should I save up my Dungeoneering tokens for then?
