What is KeyScrambler?

As you may already know, keyloggers are programs which are designed to record your keystrokes and return them to their original creators. With the recorded keystrokes, your entire internet security can become compromised.

So, is there anything you can do about it? Why, of course! Companies have made very easy-to-use softwares capable of protecting you from keyloggers. KeyScramber is one such software, and best of all, it's free!

As you type a letter, there is a path along which it travels before it reaches the application. Keyloggers intercept these keystrokes, and keeps a record of every single letter typed. With KeyScrambler, the letter typed will be encrypted at first. As it goes along the path to the application, the keyloggers will be unable to record the actual letter typed, and will get the encrypted one instead (for example, if I typed 'f', the keylogger might get 'u' instead). The letter typed is decrypted just before it reaches the application. So even if you are currently infected, you'll be safe and secure.

Installation

When you've clicked the link on the top of the page, you should see three versions; personal, pro and premium. Personal is free, so if you don't want to spend any money, this one's for you. Pro supports more applications than the Personal one. Premium supports over a hundred application, so if you want maximum protection, get it.



The installation should be pretty straight forward. When you get to the part where you have to select components, make sure you select the FireFox add-on (if you use FireFox) or whichever browser or application you want to implement it to.

You can disable KeyScrambler by right clicking on the tray icon and selecting 'KeyScrambler Off'. Another way is Ctrl + Shift + K, and this shortcut can be changed from the General Tab.

The display tab has options which let you choose whether you want only the overlay window, the tray icon, or both. You can also disable the animation and move the location of the window to your preference. Note that if you disable the tray icon, you will have to enable it using the shortcut (Ctrl + Shift + K).

The Update, Advanced and About tabs are pretty self explanatory, so I'll leave it at that.

So naive. No matter how many security precautions you take, one fly may sweep through. Even when you download from a trusted source, it may be infected one way or the other.

 

You can also get infected by simply VISITING a web page.

You click run on certain sucks, and you're ruined. (java drive-by)
On some sites you don't even need to do anything to get infected (exploit)

 

This is a great topic choice for your guide. It's useful, necessary, perfect tbh. You probably made well enough for my computer illiterate mum to understand it. Like when writing a speech - a guide that is understandable by 10 years is a perfect guide.

The information is perfect, you have everything, where to download it, how to install it, how to uninstall it. The only thing I can suggest for you to add is, how you get keyloggers on your computer. Otherwise, I can't think of anything else.

The formatting is also very well done, easy on the eye, titles made a perfect size, writing in a great font. I don't see anything wrong with it.

I normally don't rate guides, but this is defiantly a 10/10.

Well, I had considered adding that, but I did not really feel that it was necessary as it was not that relevant to the topic. Still, might update it when I have some time. Recently getting pushed a lot by school... Thanks.

how can i test if it's 100% working ?

 

When you have an application that is supported by your version of KeyScrambler selected, the tray icon will turn green. Yellow means that the application is not supported and/or you need the paid version. Red means it's disabled.

No need to be a "internet fag" about it. It's a good guide, well layed out, and it helps. Remember, not everybody like you has no life and sits at there computer 24/7, there are people who don't know this stuff.
