I really like stories like these. He sounds like a good man with his priorities straight. I'm glad some one like him won it then some one else who would blow it in vegas or something like that.

Imagine if a man who eat at McD every day won that. Guess what the money would have been spent on.

 

Ridiculous it seems wasted. I'm happy for the guy and all just it doesn't seem like he'll do anything worthwhile with the money especially if he actually thinks just 1m is gonna set him for life. Yeah you can finds ways to save it and then conserve it but it won't get you as far as you'd like.

Its shit like that this that makes people less and less energetic to get a job.

At least someone more deserving won it. It's better than someone with a job living a decent life, and from the way he talks about the money you can tell he isn't planning on wasting it.

What are you talking about? He's been unemployed for over a year, so he probably has to pay off a lot of bills/debts. This money won't get him as far as he thinks, but will get him back on his feet and give him a nice retirement fund.

 

Man what a waste. Someone with a high paying job that already has a more than comfortable life should of won it, that way he can let it sit in his bank account rather than stimulating the economy.(sarcasm)

 

Its hard being unemployed (just ask me) im glad he won the money, its truly a blessing.

 

it seems like usually its ppl that already have ltos of money that win money so its really nice to hear this, for that person that said he doesn't deserve the money, being unemployed isn't always the persons fault

Do you know the interest on $1M? Quite alot if put into a high interest account, He could live (normally) off $1M from just the Interest made.
