Caught botting....

Yeah so I was mining Iron ores today at Al-Kharid. There was this other guy near me who supposed I was botting... He was talking to this other guy near him and they talked for about 2-3mins while I didn't notice. When I went to check on it, they were talking about me botting and stuff, they've already reported me then. I think only 1 did. I then asked who was botting and they told me, that I was. I replied saying, no, I have my public off. They didn't believe me and still supposed me being a bot. I told them, that they can report me as I didn't do anything and will not get banned. They said that I will be banned. Then I was manually walking to the bank while the guy was right behind me, he said nice random weird walking... I was not even botting my walk to the bank.

So my question is, will I get reset/banned and what should I do to decrease that chance? I mined manually by hand 2 invents of iron ores and went to the GE to sell them, would that help and I also said a few words to people.

What are the chances of me getting reset or banned?

It depends, there is no definite chance that you will be banned or not.
If you are worried, just play legit for a while.

 

if you were using a crappy bot your going to get banned, if not you won't get banned

Depends on the bot you were using I suppose.

Also as said if you play legit for a while they may look at that to decide your ban if your account was sketchy later on.

 

Well It was a free bot called DarkMiner. It has anti-ban but I guess that's a bit pointless. Anyways, Ill just play legit for an hour and let it go. If it gets banned or reset, wtv... but I hope not.

I've been reported several times in the past and I'm yet to be banned. It really is random, but if you want to be safe (safer), I would do a couple of quests and play legit for a little.

 

I don't understand why people think that they will end up banned just because some one reported them, that's now how it works...

 

simply stop botting for a while more then a hour would be best they can tell how long your on the account and because no one plays 24/7

 

I was stuck in a random for about 6 hours a week ago and no ban, and I bot all day and people report me and still no ban, so I'm pretty sure you're safe.

i mean whenever you bot you take a risk...
ive been botting my main for over a year now, i program breaks every 2-3 hours, and dont usually bot for 12+ hours in a row (even with breaks)
Never been banned.

 

To me, playing legit is not an option. I have no fun out of Runescape atm. The only reason I do it is to sell the ones I already have so I can get rid of them. Maybe I'll play some legit once free trade and wildy are out again. When I bot, I bot without breaks. I know it's a dumb move but it's the move that gets me that step ahead than I would with breaks. I know the risk I'm taking...

Hehe... I got bored so decided to make an account on Sythe as regulary read the cheating section...

Anyway as the script writer it has a pretty decent antiban (I do want to improve it alot) and you played your cards (almost) right after working out you where caught. I guess and hope your account is safe.

 

Why do you guys freak out when one faggot says 'reported'? You won't get banned because of one report... It's alot more complex than that.

 

Play legit for a few days, and then start using PAID scripts. Free are NEVER as good as paid, and you WILL be banned from using them.

 

Those idiotic players think you not responding results in you being a bot.

A report won't get you banned. A bad script will in my opinion.
