the best rwt item is p hats with an extremely high street and rl price.

with the release of free trade players will buy gp rather than p hats. seriously how many ppl will pay a big lump some for a p hat when they can buy gp ?

also selling a p hat for gp and then selling the gp will give you more rl value than a p hat itself

and with free trade p hats are easily obtainable no need to pay for p hats, when you can buy gp and then p hats.

note: the most people hoarding p hats are sniper bots (mostly rwters)

 

If free-trade is brought back there won't be a street price anymore. If a Phat is 1bil you would have to buy 1bil gp to buy it. I may being an idiot but i don't understand your logic.

 

P hats are only 1bil because there is 500m of junk added to the trade. Without that extra 500m of junk, people won't pay 1bil for a p hat. In fact, people won't even pay market value for them, since they really have no purpose. This goes for all rares, and if you'll notice, santas/masks/easters and soon disks are selling min g.e. already, and we have at least another 3 weeks to go before the update even happens

Zorche is right, there will be no more junk with free trade. Junk was a solution to selling an item for the cash value that you wanted when free trade was removed a few years ago.

The vote is just a kind of a PR trick.
It'll seem like JaGeX really cares about our opinions, and their reputation will go up.

 

if i wasn't wrong, i would say the votes are just for jagex advertisements or the records.

The vote is a fraud, they've been planning this. They can't just pull this update out of their ass in two days, it would require MONTHS of preparation and planning.

I still don't fully understand why rares would crash. Why wouldn't they just sell for the price their selling for now(1b+) but without the junk?

 

theres alot of reasons to why they can crash

another one is that players that quit rs buy rares and when they re-join they buy gear

another one after that, is people take advantage of the panic and even if they shouldn't crash they will crash

another one is that staking will be back and many stakers are holding p hats
