If PVP statuettes are removed from the drop tables inflation will slow down a little and so gold prices will be able to stabilize/potentially increase over time.

 

I think another point worth noting is that trillions of gp in wealth will be wiped out by the devaluation of many junk items that currently have some sort of price. As we're also beginning to see, rares are falling across the board. Santas, masks, easters, and soon disks and pumpkins will be selling min in the g.e. As for partyhats, it's too early to say.

There's less actual gold out there than it might seem. If you want to be best prepared for the update, I'd keep as much gold liquid as you can, buy a few pvp/pk items if you want since those will certainly go up in demand. Who knows when the update will actually happen though

 

if the ge disapears the general shop will become more active lol, i loved it when you could see the general shop anytime and itd be full

so i kinda hope the ge' gets taken out

 

Gold prices will most probably go down to somewhere close to .25 cents per mill because there will be hundreds of sellers out there and the competition will be crazy. Sythe will still strive because it's not just a runescape GP sales forum. I can see all the gold sites like gold4rs having almost no business if any.

 

Prices will rise eventually, some gold sellers will be cheaper if they have high stock at first.

Demand will go up and there will be many, many different gold sellers and buyers.

 

Why would buyout be wiped? Why would junk trading be eliminated? It will still work the same. People will just add items not to balance trades, they will just add crashing buyout items. Gold prices will drop mass and that's an amazing thing I think. God knows how long it will be til prices are official. Lower rares will be crap. Wines will go up loads. This is going to be an interesting thing to watch though. I don't see why junk would stop though. I know I will still be using junk. Junk trading won't be the exact same, but it won't be removed as long as grand exchange is still in the game.

 

I have a feeling they have something to stop or detect rwt once this update comes out.

 

People will start to trade accounts/services for RSGP instead of just USD again. I liked this time of the Sythe community

I think it is not easy to let off those gold seller, i think they trying to catch those gold seller and will be like rsbot (now powerbot) case, website shutdown.

 

Honestly what I think is if Jagex does bring back free trade & old wild, I think that Jagex intends on starting RWT services of thier own, wich is why they recently removed RWT offence under reportable offences.


I think they see the money thats made in RWT and the success Blizzard has had with RWT for thier own games, all way back to Diablo/StarCraft. Also think they finaly realized they are never gonna be able to stop it as well. So therefor gonna take it over themselves.


If thats the case, I think its gonna ruin us legit RW Traders beings that every1 that has before, and ever thought about RW Trading, but peranoid due to being scammed will be going to them at the drop of a hat.


I do hope I am wrong tho & that they intend on bringing old RS back, with no itentions of RWT themselves. If thats the case Im sure youll see the legit users here on sythe doing a lil better.

yeah buying items on sythe now would change because usually to buy a partyhat you need 500M+ already and then a couple hundred bucks of real cash. does that mean that since cash is no longer needed, the amount of real money asking would go up? and i guess junk shops would close.

and from a botting standpoint, the bots are way more sophisticated than those in 2007, so now you could run money maker bots on 3-4 accounts at a time and transfer all of the money over to your main at the end of the day and get rich quick. and everyone who made beast pures over the last few years, pking huge loots and trading to your main.

AND OMFG I JUST REMEMBERED, IF BOTH COME BACK, LURING COMES BACK!!

anyways on topic.

i beleive prices will stay around what they are or only go slightly down because jagex has said they will be watchign fer rwt and mod mark or mmg, or some j mod said they think this update will help them catch more rwt.

mass bans will start and people will start being more carful about their trades. iv heard a rumour that jagex will be monitering all large trades/gifts over a certain amount and unless you've been a friend with somone for a while ban you for rwt. "gifts" to friends will be fine but gifts to random people you dont know? obviosly something going on there....

 

Well well....what im really wondering is they plan on bringing staking back which would cause people want more phats/rares..

Jagex wants it to be like 07 which means no more pvp worlds...so what will happen to the statutes/drops and to the PVP gloves? completely dissapear or what?

76king would be taken out - This brought a ton of money onto the economy now that is gone people would have less cash so the demand would be higher Im guessing for everything.

 

they say they might not even do the update they said they need alooooot of votes... and even then they might not do it... as for the wildy...i like the new wildy... you get good loots usually...if it went back to old wildy...pures (such as my self) will only get like dds and supplies... also what would happen to the wildy droped items like vesta and such... that would be come rare... imo this update will not happen.
