The new GE system still seems to be more or less in Jagex's hands so they could potentially still muddle with it now and then if they wanted, it seems.

 

The poll is a joke, kind of a PR-trick to gain reputation.
And I believe that the CEO have thought of this for a LONG time.

And it's not 1 week, it's still almost 1.5 :'(
