Spam Section Requirments.

Please remove them, i cant post in them and rly want to cause gohan told me on facebook that its the best place to chat on this site... i dont wanna sit here and spam 50 post on threads that dont interest me.

 

With all the spam reports that are going around it's pretty impossible for newer users to obtain such a post requirment without breaking a few rules to get there. I think it needs to be lowered to about 25 posts.

 

50 posts is perfect as it keeps the ban evaders away.

25 posts would do the same thing, I'm pretty sure with you on watch 24/7 that a ban evader wouldn't have time to even achieve his 10th post without getting the hammer.

There's no reason to have it that high.

A ban evader is a person that gets banned then makes a new account.

 

I think 50 posts is fine and theres no reason to change it.

I never got banned. and i havent made a new account. i was refeerd to this site by gohan. i was ganna create a account FallenOne but it was taken. so i googled " sythe.org FallenOne" to see who this kid was and saw the profile page and saw my old msn on here and recoverd it... lol

Spam forum is nothing special. it dont even boost your post count. According to Gohan. He told me Sythe made the requirment but he didnt know why.

i dont see why spam section would have a requirment, but not other sections like black market. Where it would be easyer for " Ban evadors" to access.

 

It's because many people who have been banned on previous accounts make new ones to post in the spam forum witch is against the rules. If they have to make 50 posts they won't bother and even if they do they will be caught by then.

 

I don't think it use to but ban evader's kept comming into the forum so they added it.

 

ohh thats pretty pointless, why would someone enter the spam forum. theres no benifit from it. i assume most people are banned scamming and spamming?( sense there is a section where to report this two)
and i can rule out spamming because u can spam in spam forum, correct?
and cant someone use a proxy to enter the website? and post under that ip? that would make finding them harder.

Why not add the post count requirment to Market also?? it would make the site better, im a member of other sites where black market has a post requirment.

Basically it's there because all the past trolls that got banned who instantly make a new account and post in the spam forum. It would be them, just continuing their trollfest upon Sythe, that's why it was implemented. To be quite honest, it's rather easy to get 50 posts. You don't need to spam, you can join in diligently into general conversations in the Off-Topic if you don't enjoy the Runescape or other MMORGP forums.

 

it is easy, but it takes quite some time posting 50 times.
Trolls in spam section? but isnt spam section for stupid post? how would people get banned posting in a section made for spamming?

Basically, it is a place were people can post silly things but it has to be within reason and within the rules that the site has laid out.

 

Oh I didn't realized there was rules within the spam forum. As another website that I access also has a spam forum but almost without rules.(obivous stuff like no porn/ hacking / scamming only applies)

well I see that I prob get 50 post Easyer then get requirment removed. Is there a way to remove/delete threads???

 

Some rules in the spam forum are taken away, but they may still be applied in serious cases.

And yes we can delete/remove threads, PM a moderator or report the post with the reason why it should be deleted.

NO support. 50 posts seems perfect. Gives the Mods time to find the evaders and ban them. We don't want them here.

 

It was much better with Jim Humphrey.... At least lower it to 25.
