Does anyone have experience with them? I'd love to get some, but i wear real contacts. Are they able to make colored contacts have a prescription ( like actually help your eye's ) ?

Im also going to guess that they aren't as comfortable since they aren't major brands like Acuvee and such that are ment to stay moist ( i currently keep my 1 month contact lenses in for 3 months, because i never have problems ).

Are they any itchier or heavier feeling than normal contacts?

Im looking for some Aqua blue, or some nice purple contact lenses. Preferribly one's that aren't all tricked out in designs and such.

My friend wears them and sometimes i see her struggling with it, like blinking alot and itching around her eye and what not. They may slip a little sometimes making it irritated, it may differ with other brands though.

I know a friend who uses these. He seems perfectly normal with them. I think you just have to get used to them. I would believe the violet ones will look great. Aqua just inst my style, since natural blue-eye people make it seem a bit more common.
And simply put, i think the first few days will be a bit of an annoyance.

I bought a $20 pair of purple contacts. I was unable to put them in. My dad dad wears contacts daily. He put in the colored contacts and it took him nearly an hour to get it out.

It was obvious that he was wearing a contact and it didn't look good.

Perhaps if you buy a better quality pair it will be better.

BTW purple eyes are naturally possible, only extremely rare.

People usually get halloween contacts during October. You should try something more natural. I usually get green or blue, but it really depends on your natural eye color.

I bought myself a pair of $50 ones not too long back. Getting used to them and learning to put them in quickly takes a little while, but once they're in after about 5 minutes it feels like nothing is in there at all. Your eyes feel a tad raw once they're been taken out, and whatever you do - don't wear them overnight. Always place them in the solution when not using them, and make sure to use the actual solution - water doesn't cut it. Don't wear just one at a time, make sure you put both in otherwise you'll begin to get a headache. Also, never share them with anyone else.
And unfortunately I really doubt they make prescription versions - and if they did, I would think they would be much more expensive plus a waste of money due to their relatively short usage time.

Mine are colored and they're prescription. They're disposable and last for 2 weeks. I buy them in packs that last for a minimum of three months which usually costs me around 100 dollars because I have different prescriptions for each eye.

Like I said though I doubt you'll find a shop that sells perscriptions in novelty colors because they're not really that popular. They sell normal colors though in perscription. I've been wearing colored contact lenses since I was thirteen and I sleep with them on and use water sometimes as solution, I only once had an eye infection which lasted about a week.

I think they might sell purple though.

If your going to get them make sure they are really quality and a natural colour or else you'll look ridiculous.

If they are expensive they are probably worth it though.
