Guide verification .

On one hand, we have people like you who sell guides and believe that verifiers should cater more to you. On the other hand, we have people who buy guides and complain that verifiers are verifying bad guides, spending too little time verifying guides, etc. There are more buyers than sellers, and the verifiers should cater toward the majority. That's not to say that your needs should be ignored, but try to think about the needs of the people buying your guides-they want assurance that officially-verified guides are legit, and sometimes guide verifiers make mistakes

 

We just picked up 2 - 3 more verifiers also.

 

Mind telling us who they are? The official list doesn't seem to be updated.

Yea I remember Karl verifying Greg's xfer method guide, but then I checked and Karl wasn't on verifier list.

I didn't say anything cuz there was already enough drama going on there, but it still perplexed me.

 

Well I think mods should be counted as legit verifiers anyways. Even if they're not on the list, a mod verification is good enough for me.

 

It's not that I want the current verifiers to not verify etc. I just want responses etc, You pm them, talk to them about it, and the second you bring it up , you don't get a response for 3 days to over a week in some cases. This just irritates me as sometimes threads get locked, and request you to get it verified, and in certain cases you've pmed over half the verifiers from the creation of the thread.

And the second you ask them about it you'll never get a response.

 

I feel your pain verifying a guide is extremely hard. I was going to write about my experience but I deleted it as I don't want to bring negativity to this topic, only change.

 

If this happens to be the case all we ask for is a simple response saying so. When I first attempted to verify my guide I sent you and all other verifiers a pm and no one responded. It has been exactly a week since then. You have however responded since locking my thread today though.

 

We do our best.

If you want it to be quicker, send it to us in text form in your original PM, so we don't have to go through five PMs before you actually send it to us and we read it.

 

It is obvious that when we don’t get responses for more than 3 days we will get frustrated and we feel like our work has no value. But we should have little more patience and wait for the response. The verifiers also need time to come with the best for the buyers and their work will be fool proof.

 

The mods have other things to worry about..be patient and not argogant and it'l get done...

 

I heard mods have like 1000 unread messages so yeah...
If we want quality verification i guess the time is worth the wait, instead of verifying shitty guides and causing buyers to create more trouble.

Also, it would be good to add more OGVs
