One of the better things that have happened here in the US. I don't even know why having homosexuals fight for their country was banned in the first place. Anyways, good to know.

 

Really don't like this. I just think being gay with a bunch of Straight people is just awkward for the people who are straight. Especially when changing and all the shit. Its just weird. And honestly i couldn't depend on a gay man to save my life. I have a friend who is gay so im not totally against gays i just feel they shouldn't be apart of the US military.

 

You can't tell if somebody is gay that easily. Sure, there's that small 5% of gay guys that fit the stereotype, but the majority that I know could be considered straight. I could careless if a guy is straight/gay, if he can shoot that's fine with me.

 

I slightly agree, minus the part about depending on them. If a person's in the military and he/she has to continually change and undress in front of a gay individual, you'd feel uncomfortable. Now what's the point of separate gender barracks?

 

Well i say depending on them is hard for me because i do stereotype gays as being weak, girly etc. and i dont know if i could depend on a gay to save my life or somebody eles.

 

Hence don't ask don't tell? Nobody would no that they're gay as most gay people do not actually act like they are stereotyped. There's no reason a gay person could not drive, shoot or even command as good as a straight person. You arrogant fuck.

They should be concentrating on more important things. All it did was prevent gays from being completely flamboyant. The most flaming ones are annoying anyway.

I'm with this guy. Although you did state your opinion, you did not at all respect homosexuals for what they are; rather, you pushed them into the corner just because of their sexuality. If you do not respect others, do not expect me to respect you.
