Hey guys , anyone here do airsoft?

Custom TM G3, my baby.

 

I have a KWC - Desert Eagle aem
it's a scale model of a Deagle that's made of metal with some plastic
Uses green gas as the propellant and fires just the regular 6mm BB's regardless of weight

Also has an extended barrel changeout so you can have better accuracy
I don't have a pic though but it looks just like a regular desert eagle.

 

I was into it for a while. Didn't have a gun but I'd borrow my friends. which was a cheap pump action shotgun from Canadian Tire. Fun to go out and brutalize eachother nonetheless
That's a nice gun, though... How much did it cost? What's the FPS?

I had the money saved up and everything, but I was told they wouldn't be able to ship to Canada ):

 

Was £80 , since my local site has a limit of 350 for AEG's its firing at 349 on the money very time.
I have put quite a bit of upgrades in it though so its more like £250.

 

Paintballing is better.

 

Agreed, loads of my friends do paintball.

 

Paintballing is a lot more fun I'll admit. But I like airsoft guns for their realism, which is where paintball guns fail.

 

Bloody paint chuckers.. in what way is it better? It costs more , it hurts more , the ranges are far less , the realism is zero , far too many kids are into it (almost no kids do airsoft here) and it's generally just not as good.

 

Just have to spend a little extra ;]

It hurts more, therefore it's manlier. Second, it's quite realistic - you're getting shot at - just like in airsoft. And I think quite the opposite, people airsoft far more than they do paintball. Like you said, paintballing is more expensive, so fewer little annoying brats do it.

- Upgraded ICS M4-A1 - Shoots approx. 400 w/ .20g bbs
- Stock WG CO2 Revolver - Shoots at like 500 w/ .20's, never chronoed. >_<
- Mostly stock JG MK36c - Shoots at around 350 w/ .20s

Whats the range of these things anyways.

 

I have to admit, the masks look pretty BA.

 

I used to be into it. I didn't really get "into" it big time but i had a couple cheap wallmart guns XD.

 

Yeah but i cant legally shoot people with a real one unfortunately.

The range varies but this will go to about 215ft accurately (man sized) but for just range in general 350ish. My sniper hits the 500+ ft marker but its not accurate at all.
