Gold ores

I'm currently getting 99 mining on my main, 94 so far, and have noticed a nice pile of gold ores collecting in the bank . Just wanted to hear some opinions as to whether or not I should smelt them for smithing, currently lvl 70, or sell them and train range with chins. Let me know whatcha'll think

 

a gold bar is only 100gp, but its up to you if you want smithing exp.

 

Could get 99 smithing with gold 40- 99 is only 34m?

 

Well, for 70-99 smithing it's 220k gold ores, at 271 ea, thats like, 40m-ish lol. Idk if the smithing cape is worth it tbh.

 

I'd say no.

Easier to get 99 range, make some money at aviansies or something, and then buy the ores back later - probably at a lower price too.

 

ieatjello, remember that you get 1/3rd of the money back from selling the gold bars afterwards.

Personally I'd go for 99 Smithing as well.

 

Well, I'd be doing them legit, and after spending 250 hours on mining, there is no way in hell im doing another 250+ doing gold bars for smithing lol. Plus, range is really good way to make cash doing Avianse so thanks for the input guys

 

If I was you I'd probably just smelt them all Smithing is costly, might aswell do it now or else you never will!

 

I would superheat them for 99 magic + smithing personally.
