I'm looking at making a new pure, something that I'll stick to this time, and im wondering what type of pure I should make?

 

Well, I always just start with range and go from there. Hybrids are fun.

or, just something i'd like to have is an account that can do soulsplit and barrage with like lvl 1 on everything else. maybe a slayer cape or something as well

Summoning Tank's are balling these days.
But I'd either say an Obby or an Obby Tank. They're quite fun, and pull off some good hits.
When you get sick of it, go to Death Plateu, get 17 attack and Climbers, then train to 20 attack and get a Corrupt VLS, and have fun raping. :3

 

I've always been interested in the d claw rushers, they look really powerful.

 

If I were you I'd go for ranged tank or handcannon pure.

Both are fun.
